New Best Day of My Life

wedding wall danceThoughts of only now

Totally open to the love around us

An impression of one long, large gift

Had a new best day of my life yesterday

Got married and smiled all day long

They played my song for us

We seranaded everyone

We danced all night

There were cute kids

She was beautiful

It was perfect

Thanks!

It's the Grapes

Spent the day doing up the Napa ranch before the wedding.

Felt like a zen gardener, focused only on maximizing beauty and tranquility.

Grapes slowly plumped.

The place quietly glistened.

A yellow butterfly danced in the courtyard at sunset.

Design Upgrade

Once again, this site has become a sandbox for the latest design. This one is heavily CSS-based, so I can control almost everything about the design using one page, including the layout.

There are no tables on this page.

The masthead picture is from The Breeze Spot at Phil and Jane's Casa No Casa. Inspiration a la CSS Zen Garden.

Before I even finished the rollout, GooglingEric was on it.

Bach Party

What some might find eccentric I found slightly reminiscent of other parties in the middle of nowhere.

We came, we danced, we played. We made merry. We made mince of some beer cans.

Yes, there were girls, but bikini tops were mandatory.

Longboarding

the cove at palos verdes My brother and his buddies took me surfing at the cove in the morning, skateboarding in Los Angeles after dark (for practice), then nightsurfing in Malibu for my last night in Southern California as a bachelor.

Five foot swells rolling in over 70 yards... phosphorescent algae made the water glow as dolphins played nearby and dudes yahooed all night in the dark.

I'll remember being surfed by the waves that day, and standing up for a look around, listening to birds and the whitewash behind me.

Ahh, surfing.
