Additional Clarification
Here are some more common terms, heard about the office:
barf: (v) to fail inexplicably. I don't know why it's not loading, maybe your DNS is barfing? Synonyms: freak out.
crap out: (v) to fail in an expected way. The server was working fine, and then somehow overnight it crapped out. Also: Crap in, crap out. Synonyms: die, break.
hosure: (n) beyond easy repair. Try to deal with it, but if there's hosure - if you can't even post at all, we'll need fix that. Synonyms: ruination, corruption.
snivelpants: (n) a state of complaint. This bug has put snivelpants on me. Synonyms: disgruntlement, grouchiness.
