Finally fed up with "Word"? Can't figure out how to wrap text around an image, or just want to make a killer PDF in no time flat? Fire up Pages and go to town. Of course it takes advantage of inline spell-checking, page numbering, and all the text styling that's built into OS X. Yes, you can save as a Word doc (if your co-workers aren't so hip). Yes, you can create templates and all that good stuff.

But the advantage here is really just that old standby: Drag & Drop. From the Finder, from Preview, from iPhoto, Safari, wherever - it just works. I haven't had this much fun in an editor since I graduated from BBEdit to Dreamweaver.
