ShoZu

ShoZu I just freed a bunch of photos from my cell phone using ShoZu.

It's explicitly freemium, and they do ask for your phone number. That said, I highly recommend picking it up. Flickr integration is excellent. Among other things, it will deliver comments on my photos directly to my phone, and exploit my contacts to email things directly to people from my phone.

See, I need stuff like ShoZu because I'm back using the Nokia 6600. My Treo keeps restarting on me, and I'm still heartbroken. The Razr? Also crashes, though I'm not surprised. The old 6600 is a little slow, but everything works. It's kind of a step backward power-wise, so stuff like ShoZu kindof makes my day.

Music Blog

I redesigned my music page, using SimplePie and my Odeo RSS feed.

Now, you can listen to any of my tunes from that page, and it'll add new ones as I post them to Odeo.

G(mail)TD

G(mail)TDGetting Things Done, Gmail-style.

Thanks to Eric and Jack for inspiration - my new GTD system consists of Gmail labels and filters that auto-archive emails with certain tags (like username+tag@gmail.com).

Then, I just email myself ideas and tasks from wherever I am, and attack them when I'm in the appropriate context.

We'll see how this works. Seems lighter than kGTD (which is also good).

[Update] It works. My inbox is always empty, and all my T's are getting D'd.

The trick: assign the new context before you remove the old one.

YouOS

The conversation went like this:
Dom: It's all about Camino, man.
Jeremy: Is it fast? How is the Javascript?
Dom: It rocks Gmail.
Jeremy: Bring up YouOS.
Dom: Woah. Shell script. Chat. FlickRSS.
Jeremy: Yeah, chat with the dudes, they're cool.
20 minutes later, I'm still in YouOS.
And yeah, the guys are cool.

Their designer is on a Mac.
